We are on a journey to discover the love and goodness of God and to grow in relationship with Him and each other.
Through the work of the cross, we are discovering our true identity and unique giftings in Christ and see Him at work to save, heal, deliver and bring restoration.
Our goal is to pursue God’s kingdom rather than the shifting ideals of culture and to partner with Him to bring His love and truth to the world.
Our foundation is Jesus Christ (1 Cor 3:11). Salvation comes through a personal relationship with Him, revealed by the Holy Spirit and received by faith. We recognise Jesus as the living Word of God, and we uphold the truth of the Bible as the written Word of God.
We believe that the baptism, ministries and gifts of the Holy Spirit are relevant today.
Our church is founded on the spiritual vision and principles of Christian Revival Crusade of New Zealand, now known as Revive Churches NZ.
Our original name was Canaan Christian Family Church and our 70 plus-year-old building has been a place of faith and revival, hosting many great men and women of God, including Smith Wigglesworth.
